Community Guidelines
These are the rules of conduct for AfyaRad Community. For the legal terms of using the platform, see our Terms and Conditions.
Disagreement is welcome
You will never be scored, ranked, or penalised for disagreeing with an original report, or for being wrong. Honest, independent reasoning is the entire point of this exercise -- say what you actually think.
Be direct, not unkind
Pointing out a mistake in someone's reasoning is welcome and valuable. Mocking, condescension, or making someone feel small for getting something wrong is not. Assume good faith, especially with learners.
No harassment
Repeatedly targeting one person, personal attacks, or anything inappropriate will result in escalating consequences -- a warning first, then a temporary suspension from posting replies, then full account review. We look at patterns across the whole platform, not just isolated incidents.
Respect patient privacy
Never include any identifying detail -- names, dates, specific institutions, or locations -- in a reply or interpretation, even if you think you recognise a case.
No manipulation of community signals
Using multiple accounts to inflate your own standing, coordinating with others to game discussion visibility, or flooding the platform with low-effort posts undermines the community for everyone and will result in account action.
